Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Meets President El-Sisi to Strengthen UAE-Egypt Ties

UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan began his working visit to Egypt today. Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi welcomed him at Cairo International Airport.

This grand welcome by President El-Sisi highlights the importance of the visit by the President of UAE. This will lead to strengthening the relationship between the UAE and Egypt. The discussions during the visit are expected to create new opportunities for cooperation that will benefit the people of both nations. WAM News shared a few pictures on X, from the visit.

Afra Al Hameli, who is the director of Strategic Communications at MOFA UAE, shared an update via her official X handle, 

According to the official news website Zawya, His Highness is accompanied by a delegation that includes H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Adviser for Special Affairs at the Presidential Court; Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for National Security; Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology; Mohamed Hassan Al Suwaidi, Minister of Investment; Mohamed Mubarak Fadhel Al Mazrouei, Minister of State for Defence Affairs; Dr. Ahmed Mubarak Ali Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the President’s Office for Strategic Affairs; Faisal Abdulaziz Mohammed Al Bannai, Adviser to the UAE President for Strategic Research and Advanced Technology Affairs; Jassim Mohammed Buatabh Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Department of Finance and Member of Abu Dhabi Executive Council; and Mariam Khalifa Al Kaabi, UAE Ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt.

The visit of the president of UAE to Egypt will enhance the ties between the two nations and it will also enhance cooperation in various fields. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of UAE, both nations have closer ties.

This high-level meeting between UAE and Egypt is going on critical time , because in Middle East the tension is of war and crisis. So regional stability and peace will be the focus point of the discussions, and the leaders of the both nations are expected to focus on collaborative efforts to address key issues in the region. Strengthening the UAE-Egypt partnership is important for bilateral ties and for peace and security efforts in the Middle East.
