Real Madrid Crowned as 2023-24 La Liga Champions

On Saturday, Real Madrid secured its 36th La Liga title. It was announced after the announcement of FC Barcelona’s 4-2 defeat to second-placed La Liga Girona.

As the final result, Real Madrid is in the top, 2nd spot is secured by La Liga ,Girona and Barcelona dropped to third place.

Let us tell you Real Madrid holds a 13-point advantage that once listed the league of the season. The win also secured Girona a place in Europe for the first time after qualifying for next season’s Champions League.

Portu of Girona played a wonderful game for his team. Firstly in the 3rd minute, Andreas Christiansen scored but quickly they received a hit back from team Girona. Striker Artem Dovbyk takes the lead for his team.

Girona were ahead with scores of 1–0 and 2–1 respectively. From the penalty spot, there were goals scored by Roberto Lewandowski and Andreas Christensen. They scored either side of Artem Dovbyk’s fourth-minute equalizer from the penalty spot.

But in the next 20 minutes of the second half, Miguel Gutierrez gave Porto the lead after putting the home side on top of the scorecard. After this, celebrations started in Madrid as his team moved above the Catalans to second place.

Jude Bellingham also received fans’ love for his goals.

In his statement, Portu said with teary eyes “It’s incredible to look at your shirt and experience this. There is nothing more beautiful than living this,”

“I had a thorn in my side with this club. A few years ago, I experienced the other side, which was relegation and I felt very responsible because I played a lot. Today I made amends with the fans and I can smile again.” 

After the match ended the overall performance of La Liga was wonderful. In top performers are Jude Bellingham (18 goals), Andriy Lunin (13 goals), Toni Kroos (30 appearances ), Federico Valverde, and Antonio Rudiger.
