Powerball Jackpot Monday Drawing September 1, 2025 – Results, Winners and Prize Money

The Powerball prize for September 1, 2025, has grown to $1.1 billion, making it the fifth-biggest in the game’s history. No ticket in the drawing on August 30 matched all six numbers, so this number is the first of its kind.

What happened in the last drawing

The numbers that won on August 30 were 3, 18, 22, 27, 33, with 17 for the Powerball and a 3x value for the Power Play. Even though there was no jackpot winner, nine tickets matched all five white balls and won $1 million each. Three of those tickets used the Power Play choice to double their prize to $2 million.

Choices for Prize Money

The winners of the drawing on September 1 can pick from these options:

  • Annuity: $1.1 billion over 30 years, with 5% raises each year.
  • All of the money at once: $498.4 million before taxes.

Where to Play

Two-dollar tickets can be bought in 45 states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. In some places, you can also buy tickets online.

Chances

The odds of winning the jackpot are still very low—1 in 292.2 million—and the chances of winning any prize are 1 in 24.9. Still, players from all over the country are very excited because they want to win the life-changing prize.
