Ozzy Osbourne passed away at 76 – ‘Prince of Darkness’ leaves with a grand Legacy and Net Worth

The Rock Legend and the father of British Heavy Metal, Ozzy Osbourne has left a remarkable legacy behind after his passing on Tuesday. Osbourne, the lead singer/song writer of the English Heavy Metal band Black Sabbath has passed away, only weeks after his final tour, at the age of 78.

The founder of Black Sabbath in 1968, Ozzy Osbourne is a Rock legend and a remarkable figure in shifting the musical landscape right from their first studio album ‘Never Say Die!’ and continued to be a successful band across the world.

Ozzy Osbourne was kicked out of the band after his persistent drinking and drug problems apart from his on stage antics like decapitating animals and birds. Osbourne’s notorious behaviour stirred parental fear and further criticism against the band.

His solo music career was also amazingly fruitful as the singer’s first seven albums were multi- platinum certifications in the United States. His interesting, out of box personality with black smeared makeup and sneering attitude that made him more elevated and ironically lively on stage, arresting his audience with the loud and sharp music, similar to his own self.

Ozzy never deteriorated, not even he was physically unable to conduct concerts and weakened by a type of Parkinson’s in the later part of his life. This quality of him made him more admirable and beloved by his fans and followers.

One final concert pulled together the broken band – ‘Black Sabbath’ as all the members of the heavy metal band came together a few weeks ago for a charity concert in Birmingham, England, the origin of the band. They called the concert ‘Back to the Beginning’ – with multiple rock bands like Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Pantera, Anthrax.
