On April 24, 2025, Nintendo begins accepting US retail orders for the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 model. Nintendo keeps sales prices set before with its Nintendo Switch 2 console selling for $449.99 and the bundle package with Mario Kart World costing $499.99.
Nintendo told customers on April 24 that pre-orders would open later but the June 5, 2025 release date will remain. Nintendo made only pricing changes to some accessories since their initial announcement on April 2 due to changes in the market.
