Musical Tony Awards 2025: Complete Winners List

The 79th Annual Musical Tony Awards rewarded the greatest achievements on Broadway with “Maybe Happy Ending” and “Purpose” coming out on top. Music theatre innovations were the focus, as “Maybe Happy Ending” won the Best Musical award and added directing and writing honors. The Best Play award went to “Purpose,” while there were wins for “Sunset Boulevard” and “Eureka Day” in the play revival and drama categories. International stars Nicole Scherzinger and Sarah Snook triumphed in the Leading Actress category, and Cole Escola was recognized for “Oh, Mary!”. They were praised by critics. During the show, Broadway exemplified how creative and diverse it is in all of its productions.
