How Much Will Mega Millions Tickets Cost in the New Game?

Mega Millions tickets cost $5. The company applies a built-in multiplier formula to prices after upgrading it from being an optional add-on service. The normal Mega Millions rules give all players 100 prize boosts apart from jackpot prizes.

What Changes Are Coming to Mega Millions Jackpots and Winning Odds?

Players in Mega Millions will feel more thrill whenever they participate because the initial jackpot rises from $20 million to $50 million.  The Mega Millions lottery now provides better chances for success as players using it now have 1 in 23 opportunities compared to earlier odds of 1 in 24 alongside a reduced Match 5 + Megaball odds of 1 in 290,472,336.

How Will Mega Millions Prize Structures Be Different?

Mega Millions will increase prize tiers from $2 up to $1 million, to $10 to $10 million. From this change, Mega Millions players will be able to choose between numbers 1 through 24 for their Mega Ball pick after switching to the new format.

When Does the New Mega Millions Game Start, and What Should Players Know?

The last drawing after this update takes place on April 4 while the new Mega Millions begins at 11 p.m. ET on April 8. Players can use their existing Mega Millions tickets under the previous winning conditions according to the instructions.
