Los Angeles Wildfire Forces 180,000 Evacuations: Latest on Encino and Tarzana Orders
The Palisades Fire continues to rage across parts of Los Angeles County. Now after several days of fire a new evacuation orders for Encino and Tarzana residents early Friday morning.
This vital and hazardous fire in the city is affecting not only daily lifes but also preventing essential activities. All LAUSD schools are closed.
Air quality is poor not only in the area of wildfire but also nearby areas which are not in connect with fire. According to the issued warning by government “Parents are advised to check with schools for updates.”
Another notable warning by the officials to citizens to avoid flying drones, as they disrupt firefighting operations.
According to the recent news source, “An evacuation warning was issued to a zone adjacent to UCLA, prompting the university to warn its students to be ready in case they would need to evacuate. The school sent out an email to students asking them to be ready given the proximity of the Palisades Fire that was burning in Brentwood. UCLA added that they would provide transportation to students living on the Hill, an area of student housing.”
