London’s Railways: 9 of the 10 Most Crowded UK Train Journeys

The train network of London is one of the busiest in the UK, we are not the only one who is saying it. A recent from the Department for Transport (DfT) confirms it. According to the data nine out of the 10 most crowded train routes in England and Wales are in London.

The report reveals that Thames link’s 7:33 am train from Bedford to Three Bridges is the most crowded service, carrying an estimated 835 passengers. The ranking was determined using a ‘maximum load factor,’ which measures how packed the trains are based on the number of passengers and the total capacity of the carriages.
