The London Fire Brigade has issued an urgent warning for dog owners in the capital. They alerted the pet owners ans asked them to keep their pets on leads when walking near frozen lakes. This advice comes after a rise in the number of incidents where dogs have become trapped on ice.
The LFB has warned that no one should try to save their dog from a frozen lake. Walking on the ice is very dangerous. If your dog is stuck, call 999 for help.
This winter, there have been more cases of dogs getting trapped in the ice. The ice might look strong, but it can break easily, putting both pets and their owners at risk.
London is facing cold temperatures is dipping to -3°C. Residents should extra cautious for indoor and outdoor too. Travelling on roads, driving is dangerous as roads are slippary, stay away from frozen lakes its dangerous.
