Kelly Reilly Reflects on Her "Yellowstone" Journey Ahead of the Emotional Finale
Get ready for an emotional ride tonight as Yellowstone airs its finale. Kelly Reilly, who plays the fierce and fiery Beth Dutton, is warning fans to have their tissues ready.
Before the big night, Reilly shared a heartfelt message on Instagram, but she didn’t hint at the spinoff that’s reportedly in the works for her character and her TV husband, Rip Wheeler, played by Cole Hauser.
Reilly is currently busy filming the series Under Salt Marsh in Wales, but took a moment to reflect on her time with Yellowstone, which she describes as life-changing.
“I’m deep into another role right now, fighting for another land in the UK,” she said, “but across the pond, the finale is happening tonight. Whatever the future holds, this is the end of the show we’ve been making for the past 7 years.”
Reilly expressed deep gratitude for the people she worked with throughout the series. “Words cannot convey how I feel about the people I got to work and create with over the seasons. I have made true lifelong friends. The support from the crew and the trust and dedication of the cast,” she wrote. “The words I got to say and the woman I got to inhabit—it changed me. It lit me up. It challenged me in every way possible, and I will forever be grateful for it.”
She also had a special thank you for Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan, who helped bring her character to life. “For Taylor Sheridan, who took a chance on me and continued to write her in ways that made me feel on fire as an actor, thank you.”
Reilly ended her message by thanking the fans who supported the show. “Thank you to the audience we made it for, for being on this journey with us. We really cared about making something special for you all. Enjoy tonight, get your tissues and your.”
It looks like the Yellowstone finale is going to be a tear-jerker.
