Banks and Post Offices: Major banks such as Capital One Bank of AmericaPNCTruistCitibank  and JPMorgan Chase will be closed.

The U.S. Postal Service will also halt retail transactions and regular mail delivery.

Stock Market: The stock market  will observe the holiday and remain closed.

Open:

Retail Stores: Major chains like WalmartTargetCostco and Home Depot will be open. Store hours might vary, so it’s advisable to check with local branches.

Grocery Stores: Stores including Walmart, KrogerMeijer and Whole Foods  will operate as usual. Checking individual store hours is advised.
