Iran-Israel Conflict Escalates as Iran Prepares Response to Airstrikes

Iran has pledged to use “all available tools” in retaliation against Israel’s recent airstrikes targeting its facilities.

Esmaeil Baghaei the spokesperson of the Iranian Foreign Ministry said in an address on Monday: that Iran would deliver a “definite and effective” response, he condemned the Israeli attacks on Iran.

While initially claiming the strikes caused limited damage Iran has since taken a firmer stance. The strikes conducted over the weekend targeted missile factories and sites near Tehran, escalating tensions between the nations.

Adding to the tension Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has urged Iranian officials to assert the country’s power effectively. This situation further strains the region, with Iran-backed groups like Hezbollah and Hamas already engaged in conflicts with Israel.

U.S. President Joe Biden has called for de-escalation to prevent any more Middle East conflict. State secretary of the US Blinken visited multiple times to middle east and urged to stop the war.
