How to Screen Record on iPhone 17: Complete Guide

One of the most convenient built-in features on an iPhone is screen recording which can be used to record tutorials, record memorable moments, record app problems, or provide steps to a person who requires help. 1. Enable Screen Recording in Control Center

The first thing you have to do is to add the screen recording feature to your Control Center.

  • Open Settings
  • Tap Control Center
  • Click down to Screen Recording.
  • Tap the + icon to add it

Now there is an option to use the screen recording button, swipe down at the top-right corner. This is the first step to follow by any person who has no experience with screen recording on iPhone.

2. Start Screen Recording Easily

To begin recording:

  • Open the Control Center
  • Click on the icon of Screen Record (solid dot within a circle).
  • There will be a 3 seconds countdown.

All activities on the screen shall now be captured on your iPhone. At the top will be a red bar, or pill-shaped icon that will show that you are recording. This is an easy procedure that suits those users who wish to capture gameplay, apps, lessons and others.

3. Record With or Without Audio

To use voice narration or application sounds:

  • Press the Screen record icon long.
  • The Microphone button can be turned on by tapping.
  • Tap Start Recording

4. Stop and Save Your Recording

To stop recording:

  • Tap the red bar at the top
  • Select Stop

The video can be saved to the Photos application automatically. You can then be able to trim, edit or share your recording in real time.
