Green Bay Packers longtime quarterbacks coach and offensive assistant Tom Clements has decided to retire. Head coach Matt LaFleur shared this news today on a press conference, he reflected incredible contribution to the franchise by Clements.
As reported by USA Today “Man, it’s been such a cool ride with him the past few years,” LaFleur said, honoring Clements’ legacy.
Tom Clements joined the Green Bay Packers in 2006. After his hard work, he quarterbacks coach, offensive coordinator, and assistant head coach by 2016. After taking a short break, he came back to Green Bay in 2022 as quarterbacks coach again helping players like Jordan Love. Clements is known for playing a big role in for players like Aaron Rodgers and Brett Favre.
Now when Clements announces his retirement Packers will face difficulties in finding a replacement for him.
