Gary Barlow famous for his role in Take That and as a solo artist, will headline a concert at High Lodge in Thetford this summer. Known for 24 top-10 hits and 13 UK number-ones, Barlow will perform as part of Forestry England’s Forest Live series, which raises funds for conservation efforts.
Barlow has not only enjoyed a successful solo career but has also written and produced music for other legends, including Sir Elton John, Robbie Williams, and Dame Shirley Bassey. This year, Thetford will also host Rag’n’Bone Man, James, and The Script, with more acts to be announced soon.
The funds from Forest Live concerts go directly toward maintaining over 1,500 forests, planting trees, and supporting conservation programs across the UK. Rhodri Jones, national events program manager at Forestry England, explained, “Forest Live raises vital funds for our efforts to preserve these natural spaces for everyone.”
In 2023, Forestry England planted 7.4 million trees and attracted over two million attendees to their concerts over the past 23 years.
Tickets for the High Lodge concert will go on sale on 29 November.
