Mark your calendars! The games will be held between 15th June and 13th July 2025. Imagine that, that is almost a month of quality football out there.

12 cities across the USA will host matches:

  • Atlanta
  • Cincinnati
  • Charlotte
  • Los Angeles
  • Miami
  • Nashville
  • New Jersey
  • Orlando (two stadiums)
  • Philadelphia

  • Washington, D.C.

The last match for the title will be played at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

Who Gets to Play?

Teams from six different parts of the world will join the fun:

  • 4 teams from Africa
  • 4 teams from Asia
  • 12 teams from Europe
  • 4 teams from North and Central America and the Caribbean.
  • 1 team from Oceania
  • 6 teams from South America
  • 1 team from the USA (because the championship will be hosted in the USA).

Most teams qualify for the competition through the performance of their regional championships. While some get in based on their performance in the last few years for those who keep heaving up there and rising.

Which Teams Are Already In?

Of these, 30 of the 32 teams are automatically qualified for the event. Some famous names you might know are:

  • Chelsea from England and Manchester City
  • Real Madrid from Spain
  • Bayern Munich from Germany

How Will the Games Work?

The tournament has two main parts:

Group Stage: There are 32 teams to qualify for the tournament and will be divided into 8 categories of 4 teams each. Every one of the teams has to play all the other teams in that particular group just once. The teams that finished in the top two places within a specific group advance to the next level.

Knockout Stage: Initially, there are 16 teams involved in each of which the particular match is a knockout one. The winners continue to the last stage and that is the final team – the champion!

How Can I Watch?

If you want to attend the games, the ticket-selling process will take a little while longer. Tickets for the FIFA event will be given on how fans can acquire them as we approach FIFA 2025. Otherwise you can register here.

For now, you can let FIFA know you are willing to buy tickets or some special ‘VIP’ ones for this and some other games that are significant for soccer. It also doesn’t ensure that someone will sell you the tickets but it might make you receive information first.

Why Is This Tournament a Big Deal?

It is of a wholly different size from the previous version of the FIFA Club World Cup. It gathers more top teams from all over the world. football enthusiasts will be able to watch matches between sides that they hardly ever face each other. It is an opportunity to know who the strongest club is – the ultimate winner of the Champions League!!!
