Liverpool secured big win over League Two side Accrington Stanley in the FA Cup third round. This match was played at Anfield.
Liverpool secured their first goal just before the 30th minute. Alexander-Arnold passed the ball to Darwin Nunez, Nunez sent cross to Jota. Jota easily headed it into the net. Before halftime, Alexander-Arnold scored again with an amazing shot from outside the box sending the ball into the top corner.
18-year-old Jayden Danns continued his impressive FA Cup form by scoring just four minutes after coming on as a substitute in the second half of the match. His goal came after Billy Crellin parried Chiesa’s attempt, leaving Danns to slot the rebound home.
Chiesa hit the ball against the goalpost, and sealed the win in the 90th minute with a precise strike into the bottom corner – his first goal for Liverpool.
