Moreover, Romania has played a role in this collective effort by inaugurating an international training hub for F-16 jet pilots from allied countries, including Ukraine. However, the Dutch government clarified that a decision is pending on whether to grant an export permit for the planes. This step is crucial to prevent undesirable end use, and the foreign ministry will assess it based on European Union weapon export rules.
