Before becoming a singer, he acted in the Korean drama “Boys over Flowers” where he played the younger role of Kim Bum’s character. He also acted in web dramas. He became successful within a short span of time.

He died on 19 April 2023 in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, South Korea. At the time of his death, the singer was 25 years old.
