English Star Jadon Sancho Sets New Record with 11+ Take-ons in UCL Match

Jadon Sancho showed a thrilling performance during Borussia Dortmund’s Champions League. It led to the victory in the semi-final over Paris Saint-Germain allowing him to follow in the footsteps of Lionel Messi.

Niclas Fullkrug made a goal in the 35th minute, and at Signal Iduna Park Dortmund won with a score 1-0 in the first leg. The performance of  Sancho was outstanding throughout the match.

Manchester United loanee became the one  Englishman to collect 11 or more take-ons in one single Champions League match.

After Lionel Messi in 2008, Sancho is the first man who finished 16 takeaways against Manchester United. He did it in 30 minutes against PSG.

Jadon Sancho became a player who won 13 duels, and 12 take-ons and created history 3 times against PSG.

This weekend Dortmund and Augsburg will face each other in the Bundesliga match.

And for the upcoming week, the fight of the second leg against PSG in the French capital will provide Sancho another opportunity to grab headlines and make history for the unit.
