Many people expected the Tesla Model Y ‘Refresh’ to be launched this year, but Elon Musk confirmed it’s not happening in 2024.

Since its launch, the Tesla Model Y is one of the bestselling cars from the US electric car manufacturer Tesla. The Tesla Model Y is one of the most cost-efficient cars of the brand and has gained significant popularity. The Tesla Model Y lineup starts with the Standard Range Version, which comprises rear-wheel drive and is also cost-efficient. Long-range and performance models of the Model Y are very compelling thanks to its dual motors that offer a higher combined horsepower rating and all-wheel drive.

The seating capacity of the Tesla Model Y can carry up to seven passengers. The Tesla Model Y comprises a 15-inch touchscreen, which can control various functions of the electric SUV. Other features of the Model Y include heated front and rear seats, 12-way power adjustment, dual-zone climate control, wireless charging, and a panoramic glass zone. The Model Y will also comprise of Tesla’s semi-autopilot technology, which will consist of blind spot monitoring, rear sensors, a 360-degree camera front, collision warning, emergency brake assist, and adaptive cruise control.

The price range of the Tesla Model Y is $42,990-$51,490.

Billionaire and CEO of Tesla took to his social media account ‘X’ to announce that the refreshed version of its best-selling Tesla Model Y will not be launched in 2024.

Elon Musk wrote, “No Tesla Model Y ‘Refresh’ is coming out this year.” Signifying that Tesla continuously improves its cars, Elon Musk further said, “Even a car 6 months newer will be a little better.”.

Tesla is taking more time to upgrade older car models because people are not interested in buying expensive cars due to high interest rates.
