‘God Was With Me’, Donald Trump Speaks After Surviving Shooting Incident

Recently, the ex-president of the United States, Donald Trump, took a lot of time to speak at the Republican Party conclave. The man was rather passive and that was the first time he spoke since the day when someone tried to take his life. Trump inspected the limelight saying he was safe during the attack by saying that the god was with him.

Trump Says That He’ll Be President for Everyone

He claimed to the large audience that he would win in this November election. He said that he would be ‘’president of all America not half America’’ This was comic because Trump had a bandage on his ear that indicated that he was shot during the shooting. The audience cheered as if they were at a sports match when Trump came on stage, they repeatedly shouted “USA”.

Republicans Energized by Trump

The Republican Party does seem rather elated that Trump dodged that shooting. Many of those who spoke at the convention referred to Trump as if he were an extraordinary figure or even a god. Among the speakers who preceded Trump were a famous wrestler named Hulk Hogan, and Tucker Carlson, a TV host who is a supporter of Trump.

Trouble for Joe Biden

An article also mentions Joe Biden, running against Trump. It describes Biden as in trouble and likely to be out of the election race. Some think that Biden is too old and health-wise not fit enough to take over the charge as President. If Biden quits, someone else from his party might run in his place.

Trump’s Family at the Event

Trump’s family was present at the convention. His son Eric got the crowd to chant “Fight!” Trump’s wife Melania was present but did not speak, which is also a first of its kind for a candidate’s wife in such an event.
