After a large round of election campaigns, and faceoffs, now the election 2024 is near in the Americas. Voters are ready to vote and welcome their new President. Here we are with a quick and short guide for the voters in D.C., Maryland, and Virginia. Here we will point out what’s on the ballot and key dates for the upcoming elections.
This year’s election includes a major Senate race in Maryland and a D.C. ballot initiative that could change the voting process. There’s also the ongoing presidential contest and several down-ballot races.

Maryland | – Oct. 24–31: Early voting centers open (7am–8pm) – Oct. 29: Request for ballot by mail/fax – Nov. 1: Deadline for requesting a ballot online |
Virginia | – Sept. 20: In-person early voting begins – Oct. 25: Deadline to apply for a mailed ballot – Oct. 26–Nov. 2: In-person early voting at local voter registration offices |
The Democrat candidate is Vice President Kamala Harris and the Republican candidate is Former President Donald Trump.
Both candidates are expected to have a close contest in November 2024. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will still appear on the ballot in many states, including D.C. and Maryland. Other candidates include Chase Oliver (Libertarian Party) and Jill Stein (Green Party)
