Dharma Productions sets a Release Date for ‘Dhadak 2’: Special Poster Out

An exciting sequel starring two talented actors Siddhanth Chathurvedi and Triptii Dimri, ‘Dhadak 2’ now gets a release date finalised after getting a U/A from the Censor Board of Film Certification.

Dharma Productions have certainly banked on the sequel as the production house has now announced that ‘Dhadak 2’ will be hitting the screens on 1 August 2025. Announcing the news with a special poster, the makers gave away what could be the plotline of the movie, “If you have to choose between dying and fighting… then fight.”

Starring Siddhanth Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri who are now celebrated by their fans after breakthrough roles in the past years. Both the stars are replacing Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor from the prior part, which also marked their debut.

The intense and in the spirit poster has Siddhant and Triptii hugging each other, clearly out of distress and fighting for their lives, sets the tone and vibe for the film. The film will take on discussion on caste, religion and other discriminations that distort love, and has been put through multiple levels of censoring.

Directed by Shazia Iqbal, ‘Dhadak 2’ is not a direct but stand alone sequel of the 2018 movie.
