Delta Crash at Toronto- Details

Delta Flight 4819 a Mitsubishi CRJ-900LR which is operated by regional subsidiary Endeavor Air of Delta took off from Minneapolis at 11:47 AM ET (11:17 PM IST) with 76 passengers and four crew members onboard. The accident happened when it was trying to land at Toronto Pearson at approximately 2:15 PM ET (12:45 AM IST) but lost control due to icy runway conditions flipping over before catching fire.

Emergency Response & Injuries

Injured people were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment. Deborah Flint, CEO of Toronto Pearson International Airport stated, “There was no loss of life, thanks to the heroic efforts of our first responders.”

Terrifying Crash Footage

Shocking video clips circulating online show the overturned aircraft with severe structural damage amid heavy snowfall. One clip captures two firefighters leaping from the plane’s emergency exit moments before a fiery explosion erupted.
