DC Weather: Humid and Warm Start to the Weekend

Last updated on September 10th, 2024 at 07:29 am

Happy Friday! As we wrap up the first week of September, expect higher humidity and temperatures around 80 degrees. The clouds this morning will clear up, leaving partly cloudy skies later.

For your Friday night plans, the weather should stay dry with temperatures in the 70s. It will be a bit milder and more humid overnight, with temperatures dropping to the mid-60s under mostly cloudy skies.

Saturday morning will be quite humid, with temperatures and dew points in the 60s. There’s a chance of a passing shower, especially west of I-95, but many areas might stay dry. If you do see rain, expect less than 0.10 inches.

Temperatures will be cooler than usual on Saturday, only reaching the low 70s. Humidity will decrease after lunchtime, with a breezy northwest wind. Temperatures will drop quickly in the evening, so a jacket might be a good idea for your Saturday night plans.
