If you’re a young individual above the age of 21 years and looking for a new job or a job change in Columbia, Richland County’s Alvin S. The Glen Detention Center (ASGDC) is hiring and offering attractive benefits. New hires are eligible for a $5,000 signing bonus, with an additional $5,000 awarded after one year of service.

Detention Officer | This person will be responsible for the safety of staff and inmates, supervising inmate activities, and performing corrections-related duties. |
Summary Court Law Clerk | Supports Court Administration through clerical duties, maintaining case files, and assisting in courtroom operations. |
Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must be at least 21 years old and should bring a resume, high school diploma or GED, and a valid South Carolina driver’s license to the job fair. You can also pre-apply online via the County’s website.
