Lyedja Santos who is just 19 was the attacker.  She shot an 18-year-old classmate in the head with a revolver. Again when she tried to shoot a teacher, the gun jammed! This moment allowed a quick-thinking student to tackle her and stop the mass killing!

Authorities discovered Santos had also brought knives, the jammed revolver, and books about serial killers to the school. She also left a note expressing regret and a desire for “peace.”

The attacker Santos is now facing attempted murder charges, police arrested her. She is behind the bars. The local police are continuing to investigate. They are searching for the intention of  Santos.  In the school, the whole community is left shaken but grateful for the bravery that saved countless lives.

According to the local media reports the injured student is recovering and in stable condition. This quick action by that student had prevented much harm in the school.
